Sculptural pitcher Vallauris in glazed ceramic green and brown, France

Sculptural ceramic pitcher glazed, made in Vallauris in the 1960s. It features an organic shape, a sculpted handle, and a wide asymmetrical spout. The exterior is glazed in a very dark brown, while the interior is decorated with a deep green glaze with characteristic white drips. An expressive piece, ideal for a Mid-Century or contemporary interior. Very good vintage condition, with a barely visible micro chip in the glaze on the rim (see photos). Marked Vallauris underneath the base.
