Antique showcase

Magnificent antique display cabinet with authentic charm made of solid oak. It originally had a more imposing cornice, which was removed to give it a simpler and more contemporary line. One pane of glass had to be replaced; the others are still in old blown glass, with their delicate irregularities that add to the charm of the piece. Its format is particularly interesting: tall and very shallow, it easily fits even in narrower spaces. The cabinet has been completely sanded, treated preventively due to old signs of woodworm, and then nourished and protected with a wax cream that beautifully highlights the wood's patina. There is a small jump in the cornice at the bottom left (almost imperceptible). It will fit perfectly in a kitchen to hold glasses, cups, bowls, or pretty dishes, but also in a bedroom or living room transformed into a library. Dimensions: H 146 X W 102 cm X D 20 cm.
