Openwork ceramic elephant

This magnificent ceramic elephant will not go unnoticed, it could even become the centerpiece of your decoration in the living room, bedroom or veranda. It is large and sturdy enough to serve as an end table, a bedside table, a plant holder but will especially be wonderful as a decorative piece in its own right, alone or accompanied, I also offer two other ceramic elephants (click on see the shop). Its particularity is that the ceramic is openwork (green parts on the sides, the hindquarters and the head), we can therefore imagine lighting it from the inside (which I did with a small light garland (not very illuminating for lack of anything better available). Its colors are very beautiful, still very lively (green, caramel, sky blue and white on an ecru beige background). It has a mark or stamp underneath. It must date from the 60s or 70s. It is in good condition, which is quite rare for these good-sized elephants: no shine, just a crack but which does not call into question its solidity (at the side of the hindquarters, see photo), and a raised mark, probably original because it does not come off when cleaned (see photo). I cleaned it carefully, with a brush in all the small reliefs, there are still a few small dots of paint, probably original. Measures 42 cm in height, approximately 47 cm in length and approximately 23 cm in width. It must weigh 6 or 7 kg. Very rigorous packaging in the event of shipment by colissimo.
