Set of 2 antique Baumann bistro chairs

Superb series of 2 antique bistro chairs. Probably before the 1950s. Rare model of the baumann house (stamped under the seat) The backrest is in the shape of an oval medallion. The seat and backrest are studded and covered with a skaï or leather (to be checked) granite in a very beautiful wine-lie shade. In good general condition, the 2 chairs are stable, comfortable and robust. We love the elegance of their beautifully worked feet and their slender look. There are small gaps of skaï on the bottom of a backrest as well as a very slight snag on the skaï of the seat of this same chair (see photos). There is also a scratch on the wood of one of the feet. The overall patina is superb. A rare model that will make a sensation around a table! Total height: 97 cm. Seat height: 48 cm. Width: 39 cm. Depth: 44 cm.
