Antique French Louis XV style daybed – single bed – adjustable leg – beech frame – circa 1880–1920

This antique French daybed dates from the late 19th to early 20th century. The frame is made of solid beech with carved details in a Louis XV style. The headboard and footboard are both upholstered in a deep red velvet fabric with a decorative border. The bed includes a thick mattress with a removable and washable cover. The footboard can be adjusted to various positions, allowing the bed to serve as both a single bed and a reclining daybed. In good antique condition with light signs of wear consistent with age.
