Marcel Breuer Chair Model S64 by Thonet

Iconic tubular steel chair model S 64, designed by Marcel Breuer for Thonet in 1928. The frame is made of chromed tubular steel. The seat and backrest are covered with the "Viennese Wickerwork" on a beech frame. The seat and backrest have new caning. This chair was produced in 1982 and has a stamp underneath the seat. The steel frame is very clean. The chair shows normal signs of use for its age, mainly in the form of rubbing on the armrests as can be seen in the photos. HxWxDxSH: 77cm x 60cm x 57cm x 44cm
