Wooden candle holder - Candelabro Paloma

P.I.Project has been celebrating and honoring Mexican craftsmanship for over 10 years. We are a Franco-Mexican project that creates home decor objects blending contemporary style with traditional techniques, the result of invaluable collaborations with our partner artisans. Our wooden candle holder is hand-carved by artisans from a cooperative in Veracuz. It is made from gliricidia wood, a tree native to the region. Each piece is sanded to achieve the desired shape and quality, and finished with beeswax, thus avoiding the use of varnishes and fillers. The wood used by the cooperative is sustainably sourced through reforestation efforts. This carved wooden Paloma features five candle holders (2 cm in diameter), and its five "wings" and base are movable.
