Cut crystal oil jug

Cut crystal oil bottle, faceted stopper, France, circa 1880–1920. Globular body in hand-cut crystal, decorated with diamond points and vertical ribs, tapered neck with pouring spout, applied ribbed handle, faceted ogive stopper with cut sides. Cutting technique characteristic of French crystal-making during the Belle Époque — likely produced by Saint-Louis, Baccarat, or a quality Lorraine crystal maker, with no identifiable marking in this single photo. Height: 17 cm. Ø 8 cm. In very good condition. Crystal of great clarity, with no apparent chips or scratches. Original stopper present and fitted, small chip on the inside of the stopper.
