Bünte und remmler workshop lamp model 2528 akrobat. Burnished and painted black iron arms. Painted black cast iron clamp. Small and diagonally cut reflector - aluminum-colored inside and black painted outside. Articulated and expandable arms. Articulated shade. E27 tap socket, power 15-60 watts. Original on/off switch integrated into the bulb socket. Dimensions: height 50 cm; length from 45 up to 80 cm; width 6 cm; reflector diameter 13.5 cm. Weight: 1, 7 kg. Produced by bünte und remmler (bur), frankfurt am main. Designed by christian dell. Production period: 1930-1932. During the 1920s and 1930s, bur was one of the rare light manufacturers producing designs from the bauhaus school. The company employed designers as wilhelm wagenfeld and christian dell who created the shape of modern desk lightings as we still know today. Bur is renowned among vintage lights collectors due to the quality and design of its products. Bünte und remmler was honored by 3 design prices. Restored vintage patina condition: original painting with some light patina and chips, fully re-wired with modern electrical components and black round electric cable 2 X 0.75mm². Exceptional patina and condition. Very rare model.
