Art Deco children's desk in solid wood

Superb art deco children's office (circa 1930 / 1940). Solid wood desk (oak) of very nice workmanship. Beautifully carved (see the work on the right legs and the décor on the door), it has been sandblasted to restore it to its beautiful original color. We find this typical art deco decoration on the original handles whose patina is very beautiful. The small built-in closet on the left locks and has 2 removable shelves inside. The central drawer slides perfectly. A small hole in the wood above the drawer handle attests to the presence of an old lock. Stable, robust and immediately usable, it will be perfect as an extra desk or children's desk. The interior of the furniture has been deliberately left in the state because it allows to remember that this furniture is old and that it thus preserves traces of the past time: old ink stains still visible here and there.
