17th century Louis XIII chest/bench. A true piece of exception, this piece of furniture has passed through the centuries. Very nice coffered façade with its bevelled panels. Its semi-apparent hinges are made of wrought iron. In the case of a very old piece of furniture, this one has traces related to its age: some cracks in the wood, stains, wear, small lack of wood, old traces of xylophages ... Like many chests of this period it is possible that it was completed or rebuilt in the 19th century with ancient elements, and the screws of one of the hinges were replaced in the middle of the 20th century.
