Large African pottery in brown terracotta – Bamana style, Mali

Very beautiful ancient African pottery in brown terracotta, with a generous shape and particularly decorative. The piece features a globular body, a short slightly flared neck, and a decoration composed of numerous concentric grooves, complemented by vertically incised patterns resembling a braid. The surface displays beautiful brown hues, traces of firing, and a patina that gives it a lot of character. Dimensions: Height: 17 cm. Diameter: 20 cm. Overall in good condition, with some irregularities and surface marks related to its manufacture and age.
