Louis XV style basket canapé

Louis XV style canapé with a carved wooden structure gilded with gold leaf in the Rococo spirit. It has been fully restored by master craftsmen whose expertise was regularly sought for the restoration of furniture intended for castles and prestigious residences. Complete restoration: refurbishment of the structure, complete reupholstering, full re-tapestry with fabrics from Lelievre, and re-gilding of the woodwork with gold leaf. High-quality work carried out using traditional techniques. Remarkable state of conservation. The upholstery is perfectly preserved, without stains, tears, or notable wear. The structure is sound and stable. Only a very slight bump on one of the legs is to be noted, discreet and without impact on the overall solidity or aesthetics of the piece.
