50s Gerard Geytenbeek ‘plataan’ dining table for Zwijnenburg Meubelen

Gerard van geytenbeek executed the design vision in the 1960s and 1970s and he always remained connected with craftsmanship and zwijnenburg. That might be one of the reasons why other designers from that time like martin visser or gerard van der sluis became more well known compared with gerard. Perhaps that is why the tripod ‘plataan’ tables from geytenbeek have become so popular among collectors nowadays. This table is in good condition consistent with age and use. It is made in laminated wood, white tabletop and full wood for the foot.
