Armchair "air france boardroom" - jacques adnet. This chair entitled "air france boardroom" is attributed to jacques adnet. The seat shell is made of wood. Filled with foam, it is covered with a cream-colored fabric. It rests on a central foot in chrome-plated metal in the shape of an arrow. This chair is a private order from the president of air france in 1958. It marks the stylistic transition point of jacques adnet. Jacques adnet was born in 1900 in france. He was one of the first designers to integrate glass and metal into his work. He studied at the municipal school of design of auxerre and then joined the school of decorative arts of paris. Subsequently, he directed the compagnie des arts français (1928-1960), the salon des artistes décorateurs (1947-1949) but also the ecole nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs (1959-1970).
