Faceted Murano Sommerso amber vase

Original Murano Sommerso vase. A vase with a superb jewel-like appearance, in impeccable condition. This style of vase was produced by several Murano manufacturers of the time, such as Mandruzzato, Flavio Poli for Seguso, etc. Therefore, it is impossible to attribute it to a specific manufacturer without a signature or sticker. The Sommerso technique, which means "submerged" in Italian, involves dipping coloured glass into molten glass of another colour before blowing the glass into the desired shape, creating two or more contrasting layers of glass without the colours mixing, resulting in this unique effect. Excellent vintage condition, no defects or imperfections, apart from a few small bubbles trapped in the glass resulting from the manufacturing process. Amber H 20 X W 7 cm.
