Scandinavian mid-century style rug. 246 (256 incl.the fringes) X 191 cm = 97 (101 incl.the fringes) X 75 in. Flat weave (röllakan) technique, wool on linen. Traditional geometric pattern, possibly composed by ellen stahlbrand. Understated monochrome color palette. Labelled m design. Hand-woven, likely in sweden (the quality is adequate), around millennium (although the pattern is much older - from middle of 20th century).
