Medical toise

Rare and Old Medical Roofs for collector from 1903. It belonged to my family at the beginning of the century, my great-grandfather Doctor practicing in Bordeaux and its region. ( For the record.. ) It has been properly preserved and surely well maintained given its current condition until now. It is composed of: ⁃ A mast of solid oak wood (2 m 23 cm) - A brass ruler of more than 2 m ⁃ brass screws ⁃ 2 wrought iron pulleys (still perfectly functional) ⁃ 1 piece of sliding wood nicely and precisely shaped itself composed of a metal plate indicating the address of the craftsman making this toise and an auger that allows to lock the sliding piece ⁃ And a small brass piece to indicate and specify the size to the millimeters. ⁃ A rope was added recently because I think that the old one must have been damaged all this time and at the end of this rope, there is a weight of 2kg that create a perfect counterweight to memorize the sizes of the patients, without locking the sliding piece. ( That you can also lock to memorize a size yourself. ) ⁃ And a solid wood base with two wrought iron fasteners. It will be very suitable for a decoration of a doctor's office, a waiting room, a cabinet of curiosities, a restaurant or even at home, in your entrance ... etc. -Total height: 2 meter 23 cm -the base (square) 45 cm by 45 cm
