Set of 2 leaf-shaped ceramic dishes from Vallauris.

A set of two decorative glazed ceramic dishes from Vallauris, shaped like leaves. Both pieces feature glazes in shades of green, brown, and cream, with beautiful speckled and crystallised effects. One of the dishes is enhanced with bright orange touches that contrast nicely with the earthy tones. The relief of the veins and the irregular contours give each piece a very sculptural appearance, typical of the decorative productions from Vallauris in the mid-20th century. Overall good condition. Some minor signs of wear and a small loss of glaze visible on one of the dishes, photographed in detail. Sold as a set.
