Magnificent and rare utensil holder from the beginning of the century. Stamped with the clover smfo brand (société française des métaux ouvrés). This factory was created in 1904 and, based on the catalog, we can date the manufacture of this utensil holder to before the first world war (around 1910). It can serve - of course - as a utensil holder by completing the skimmer sold with other contemporary utensils from this era. However, as the use of aluminum in the kitchen is not recommended today, it is instead considered as a very nice “shabby countryside” decorative accessory or as a tea towel holder. Height: 42 cm. Width 29.6 cm. It shows traces of friction and a poorly rectified depression at the left hanging hole. It's an object that has more than 100 years of use and if it were nickel it would be of no interest! The photos are an integral part of the description. Note that the colors may differ somewhat depending on the exposure during the photo. Careful delivery the same day of your purchase.
