St Clement slip plates

Pretty old plates, decorations in slip (with reliefs) of fruits: peaches, apricots and cherries. Each plate is lined with flowers and foliage in relief in bluish green hues that add to the charm of its plates. The colors are vibrant and the brilliance of the whole is intact. The cherry plate has a little wear at the edge, it nevertheless remains in excellent condition as a whole. Absence of crack and restoration for the other two which are therefore in perfect condition. These plates are a historical testimony signing two major technical advances, at the end of the nineteenth century, in the production of earthenware: the manufacture by casting and the airbrush decoration that gave birth to this colorful collection, heir to the "art nouveau" period, which remains timeless and brings freshness and originality to your interior.
