Pair of Scandinavian Glass & Brass Wall Lights/Sconces by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors & Lyfa, 1960s

Stunning pair of brass & crystal glass wall lights/sconces designed by carl fagerlund and made in collaboration between danish light manufacturer lyfa and swedish glasswork orrefors in the 1960s. Rare "venus" model. Thick mold-blown transparent crystal glass shades curved to a half circle form. They feature an embossed pattern of bubbles. The shades are fixed with 2 brass knobs to thin polished brass wall mountings. The wall lights illuminate beautifully (see pictures). Original labels intact. Re-wired (hardwired) and ready to be installed straight to the wall (compatible in europe, uk, us, etc.). Each wall light requires 1x e14 light bulb, max 40w. Led compatible. Height: 25.5 cm; width: 15 cm; depth (from wall): 12 cm. Quite heavy (each weighs 2.7 kg). Excellent vintage condition. No chips, no cracks or other damage to the glass. Patina on the brass parts.
