Sofa Daybed Martin Visser Model Sluis, 1955, Holland

De sluis is the first sofa bed designed by martin visser. It consists of a flat seat and a tiltable backrest. It is a fairly rare copy and has only been in production for 2 years (1956-1957) replaced in 1958 by model nieuw sluis and this model was replaced in 1960 by the iconic models br02 and br03... Original fabric. This sofa bed is made with a large birch wood drawer.i don't no if this is a later issued. Or made in the factory.
