Thomas Cartier terracotta bear bookend

Very beautiful book wedge / solitary book greenhouse, terracotta, old signed thomas cartier (1879-1943), depicting a slumped bear on support. 15.5cm long, 19.3cm high, 10cm deep. Attention, this object has been restored, with red baked and raw earth, this piece was in poor condition (peeled off its base, soiled with traces of glue and grime, an ear and part of the truffle were missing) the right ear was redone, as well as the left side of the truffle, the bear was glued to the base to the ground and a film of earth was passed over the entire surface to find the uniformity of the color after being cleaned, a transparent / white patina was also passed over the entire piece to protect it, shiny with whitewashed areas a little modernized, all the restorations we were made by myself (amateur), they are solid and quite clean, the ear and nostril are a little different from the original but this is seen a little less in reality than in photo. The whole is solid again and the piece will not come off the base. About 2kg.
