Napoleon III mirror with a pediment

Napoleon III period mirror in stuccoed and gilded wood, adorned with a sculpted pediment featuring floral motifs and finely detailed acanthus scrolls. It has been fully repatinated. The richly worked frame displays a continuous frieze of leafy scrolls and a beaded moulding, characteristic of the 19th century. The uprights framed by small corner consoles provide a beautiful structure to the whole.
