André Bloc - Sculpture/Modernist Ashtray Angel Fish - 50s - Bronze

André Bloc (1896-1966) Angel Fish. Rare Sculpture / Ashtray. Mid-Century Modern 50s. Polished Bronze. A purely decorative or functional art object: In ashtray mode, the fish's tail can hold 4 cigarettes, and the hollow body collects the ashes. Here we find André Bloc's clean and stylised style in this elegant creation of great fluidity. Good condition: no major accidents or missing parts. There are micro-scratches from use. Beautiful golden patina. The sculpture has deliberately not been cleaned to preserve the patina, but a fine cleaning with 000 steel wool will restore its original shine without damage. Height: 13.5 cm // Length: 15.5 cm // Width: 6.5 cm (at the widest part of the tail) // Weight: 1 kg. Hand delivery or shipping (perfectly protected, tracked and insured, via Mondial Relay, Chronopost Shop2Shop or Colissimo, your choice).
