Painting made in tempera on canvas (jute) representing an abstract landscape, (which can evoke the shape of the tree) typical of the work and inspiration of marcel poulet. Work in patfait state of conservation, dated 1973, (with baguette frame). For information, a beautiful documentary on the artist of benoît pupier, (format 76 min, production lmm films) was released in 2010 and freely visible on the internet. Vagabond portrait of the artist, marcel poulet, painter based in merry-la-vallée, puisaye, his native region. Guided by a strong regional tradition of mural paintings, he abandoned oil in the early 60s for tempera techniques. Painter of matter, ochre, he himself gleans his material from nature, especially in the rich quarries of pigment present around his home. Panel dimension: 50 / 50 cm, with frame: 51.5 / 51.5 cm.
