Small Louis XV style desk chest of drawers in rosewood marquetry

Charming little louis XV style desk chest of drawers in rosewood marquetry. Parisian work from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Topped with a veined gray marble with intact scalloped edges. Opening on the front in the upper part with a flap drawer revealing a writing tray, a niche, 4 small drawers. (light mark on the wood of the tray see photo). In the lower part, a large drawer. This elegant little chest of drawers, with ideal dimensions, is curved on all its sides. It is made of rosewood veneer inlaid with lattices. It rests on 4 arched legs. Perfect stability. Rich ornamentation of gilded and chiseled bronzes, such as pull handles, clogs, chutes, keyholes and apron. Beautiful discovery condition.
