Pair of mouthblown wine goblets - chain

This groovy pair of mouthblown wine goblets is inspired by glassware that dates back to the 15th century. In the medieval days, wine goblets were not just vessels for holding liquids; they held ceremonial significance. Goblets were often used in religious rituals, feasts, and important gatherings and some goblets were adorned with applied decorations, such as glass trails or small blobs of glass. These embellishments not only served an aesthetic purpose of looking simply dashing but also provided additional grip when eating greasy foods with your hands. Brought to life by a father-son glasshouse nestled in the Bohemian forest in the Czech Republic, a region that carries a legacy for its crystal and glassmaking. Each piece is made using time-honored, artisanal techniques that have been around since the 1400's. These mouthblown wine goblets are sold by the pair. The Goblets are 20cm tall, 7cm wide and their contents hold up to 320ml. Crystal glass tinted with a green hue. Please note there will be irregularities and air bubbles due to their artisanal nature and the craftsmanship involved, this goblet is not dishwasher safe.
