Large Walther Glas Bolero Bubbles bowl, 1970s

Large vintage decorative bowl by Walther Kristallglas, from the "Bolero Bubbles" collection, probably dating from the 1970s. Made of thick, transparent pressed glass, it is fully adorned with the characteristic three-dimensional relief of the collection. The row of large bubbles surrounding its lower part acts like a succession of small lenses: it captures light, multiplies reflections, and sometimes gives the impression that the glass spheres are illuminated. A very decorative piece that can be used as a centrepiece, fruit bowl, or salad bowl. Weighing over a kilogram, it has a beautiful presence and excellent stability. A small dessert bowl from the same collection, measuring 12 cm in diameter, is also available. The two pieces can be purchased separately or together. This listing is for the large bowl only.
