Danish ax chair (model 6020) in 1947 designed by peter hvidt & orla molgaard nielsen and then manufactured by the danish company fritz hansen. This chair gave fritz hansen his international breakthrough. The chair has graceful armrests and the use of different types of wood, namely a combination of teak, beech and mahogany, creates a beautiful and harmonious whole. Fritz hansen was founded in 1872 in denmark and has a long history of successful collaborations with leading international designers.
