Pierre D'avesn green crystal ashtray, Art Deco

This very beautiful glass (or crystal?) ashtray has a pretty minty green color and a beautiful star or sun shape. The glass has incredible transparency and shine. This ashtray is very heavy and therefore very stable, it has four slots for cigarettes but will also make a very nice pocket tray or paperweight on a desk. It looks exactly like an ashtray created by Pierre d'Avens who worked successively for Lalique and Daum before setting out on his own. This one does not have any marking identifying it with certainty, but according to my comparisons and information, it would be, even without signature, an ashtray created by d'avesn, perhaps for daum in the 1930s or later on his own account. It is in very good condition, no chips, just a few almost invisible micro-scratches. It measures 14 cm in diameter, 5 cm in height and weighs approximately 750g.
