Stylish Victorian nursing chair, late 19th-century armchair.

Superb antique nursing chair from the late 19th century. Structure made of turned wood, originally painted black, with a newly upholstered spring seat by its previous owners. Beautiful beige caramel jute fabric with white floral patterns. Finished with a fringe of matching pom-poms. Functional small castors at the base of each leg for easy mobility. Low seat at 32 cm from the ground and backrest, characteristic of nursing chairs, named so because they were often used to feed a child or to be at their height. It also serves as an armchair suitable for fully enjoying the warmth of the hearth. Comfortable and stable. Today, it can also serve as an armchair and/or charming decoration. A seat in natural tones, authentic and timeless. Another piece of a different shape covered in the same fabric is available (last photo), with the possibility of creating a set.
