"Little Tulip" armchair - Pierre Paulin for Artifort - Circa 1970

Design icon: the Little Tulip chair designed by Pierre Paulin for the publisher Artifort. This original swivel model is a centrepiece of organic design from the 60s/70s. • Designer: Pierre Paulin. • Publisher: Artifort (original plaque and stamp present under the seat) • Colour: Textured plum / aubergine fabric. • Condition: Very good vintage condition "in its juice". The fabric shows slight discolouration on the armrests due to use. The brushed metal base displays normal surface micro-scratches for its age, with no deep pitting. An authentic piece with a superb patina, ready to join a contemporary or vintage interior.
