Adorable boarding school bedside table from the 50s all in steel. Typical architecture of school furniture or post-war communities inherited from jacques hitier (among others). Sober, minimalist, raw line construction of incredible robustness (it's heavy) intended to pass the years (see the centuries: -)). Its large size, its 3 storage levels and its drawer offer plenty of storage capacity for books, magazines, and personal items to hide in the drawer. Originally white, it was repainted at one time in a light gray. Some paint breaks attesting to his experience. Impeccable top covered with a kind of very resistant formica.
