Whitefriars 1950s 9413 Blue Cased Glass Bowl

An uncommon model 9413 bowl in cased blue, designed in 1954 by geoffrey baxter for whitefriars glass, england. Handmade, and oval in shape, it features a heavy base and a pulled rim, with a core of vivid blue cased thickly in clear glass. A short-lived design, it only appeared in the 1957 catalogue, and as such doesn’t come up very often.
