Founded in 1957 by chaim schreiber, schreiber furniture is an interesting british success story. The company was one of the biggest names in furniture in the 70s, rivalling g plan and other well known manufacturers. In 1973 they added fitted kitchen to their range, and created 280 schreiber furniture centre shops throughout uk. This is a tall chest of drawers with the added feature of a compartment at the top, with a round mirror in the lid. Typical of the schreiber style. Simple clean design with their trademark wood grain formica. Size. Width 61cm X depth 43cm X height 106cm. Condition: excellent mid century condition.
