Jacques Blin: Yellow glazed ceramic jug

This ceramic vase or pitcher by Jacques Blin, in a rather rare yellow colour for his work, features lovely incised decorations. The seemingly naive motifs of fantastic animals, deeply incised into the ceramic, reflect his interest in engraving. The play of oxides, applied and rubbed onto an incised, even scratched surface, is very close to the work of printmaking, of which he is a prominent specialist. In perfect condition. Signed J. Blin at the base. Dimensions: H15 x D7 cm Ref LDP: 2025-IH4AA
