Sconce made of blown glass by RAF, manufactured in Sweden around 1960. It can be used with a cord and plug or without cord/plug for wall installation. A unique and beautiful shape resembling a crest. The tiny fragmentation of glass with gold inside creates a diffuse glow when lit, according to the "rugiada" technique. The sconce is attached to its back plate using two brass ball screws. This pair of vintage wall sconces from Reijmyre Armaturfabrik (RAF), Sweden, exemplifies mid-century Scandinavian design.
