Table Art Nouveau Latham feet Guimard circa 1916

Square table in solid oak, art nouveau circa 1916, with a fluted footing at the bulging ends evoking the lines of guimard's furniture. A hollow moulding frames the belt of the furniture on each side, stylizing a blind cartridge in curved lines like the signs of the metropolitan or the shops of the time. The tray opens to accommodate an extension (not provided). By its square shape typical of the creations of the time (majorelle, nowak, guimard), this table can be used as an office offering a large work surface for 1 or 2 people. Under the tray, two old labels are still present, on one of them, it is still possible to read "sending messrs. Latham - co. ". This table was created for the offices of a normandy aeronautical company, family of the famous aviator. Cleaned table, rekindled hue, ready to install. Dimensions (cm): l113 X p105 X h72.
