Vintage DSR chair by Charles Eames circa 1960

Chair with original reupholstered shell recently stamped Charles Eames. It is in the original Herman Miller beige fabric on a more recent DSR Eiffel black base. It creates the perfect combination for the iconic dining chair. Finished in a fabric designed by Alexander Girard himself which has a patterned and textured feel; it has a slightly more elegant finish than the plain fabrics used on some other shells. As can be seen in the images, the chair has a mark but this may well disappear with a gentle clean. The chair is in very good vintage condition.
