Galileo series executive desk designed by Ennio Fazioli for MIM Roma

The Galileo series executive desk is a design by Ennio Fazioli from the 1970s. Fazioli was known for his collaborations with MIM Roma. The Galileo series was a modular system with elements ranging from the desk base to circular or diamond-shaped desk tops with cabinets and drawers that could be attached to the table bases. This example has a round top in rosewood with built-in drawers and a matching filing cabinet. The desk is in good vintage condition with signs of age and use consistent with its age. Minor wear, small marks, and light variations in the wooden surfaces are present, alongside gentle patination to the chrome parts. These characteristics contribute to the authenticity of the piece.
