Pair of safari folding chairs in leather 1970-80
Superb pair of folding safari chairs, circa 1970-1980. Turned wooden structure resembling bamboo, with a seat and backrest in black embossed leather resembling crocodile skin and brass details. They have a sculptural presence and a very graphic silhouette, making them a true decorative piece. Their combination of wood, leather, and brass fits well in both contemporary interiors and colonial-inspired decor or an eclectic setting! In good vintage condition, with signs of use consistent with their age and usage, which contribute to their character. Note: two previous repairs to the straps (photos). Seat height: 47 cm.
