Villeroy and Boch tureen 31 cm

Large tureen of 31 cm high covered in mettlach sandstone. Spirit of the renaissance by villeroy & boch circa 1874 to 1909. It is printed with the brand of the castle and the number 2602 the body of the tureen is modeled in high white relief by an ancient scene where serenity reigns on a blue background. The lid is decorated with vine leaves and cream grapes. It has a handle in the shape of a vine. It is in excellent antique condition without chips or cracks just a small mark on the foot. Optimal size to serve soups, terrines and stews... It is only refinement and carries with it a great story! This old "lady" must be pampered. It is not light 7kgs700.
