A beautiful convertible sofa bed set from the hungarian designer józsef peresztegi from the art deco-bauhaus era. Classic elegant shape, art deco notes but at the same time the bauhaus style is characterized by a steel tube curved frame embracing the bed. Completely renovated structurally, new chrome plating, reinforced-re-tied epeda springs, re-upholstered with italian high-quality patterned beige velvet. József peresztegi, a well-known hungarian bauhaus furniture designer between the two world wars, and the II. Became one of the defining figures of the post-world war II period. He is a founding member of the wood industry manufacturing design and editing office, established in 1951, which was the main venue for furniture design in the ’50. Width: 198 cm. Depth: 98 cm.
