A piece very characteristic of Paul Quéré's artistic universe: a stylised figurative decoration, muted and earthy colours, the softness of the glazes, and a composition that is almost poetic in the vocabulary of Picasso, Capron... Where they all worked in the provinces during the same period. Paul Quéré (1931-1993) is a French artist of Breton origin, well-known as a potter, ceramist, painter, and poet. In the 1950s to 1970s, he worked as a potter in Saint Paul de Vence and created the workshop Le Minotaure with his partner Ariane Mathieu. A collectible ceramic for enthusiasts, it will easily find its place as a catch-all, decorative bowl, table plate, or jewellery display, etc. In very good condition.
