Exceptional sculptural vase in blown art glass, signed and dated 1998 by Robert Pierini, a major figure in the revival of contemporary glass in France. His works are included in prestigious collections worldwide. Weighing an impressive 4.971 kg and standing 31 cm tall (13 cm wide), this massive piece illustrates his technical genius: spectacular blue and white glass sails spiral within a thick transparent mass, converging towards a magnificent central air bubble trapped inside. The polished base bears the engraved handwritten signature "R Pierini / B01 / 1998", guaranteeing its authenticity, accompanied by a "Drouot Estimations" label confirming its past expertise.
