Small earthenware bowl by Robert Picault (Vallauris), featuring a stylised floral pattern in the centre, zigzag and round cross friezes on a green background, with the signature RP on the base. The base, in visible biscuit of ochre hue, bears the monogram "RP" written in brown cursive, used during the early years of Robert Picault's production. Associated with the decoration, model, and engraved number, it generally dates this piece to the early 1950s.
