Set of 6 soup plates in fine earthenware Petrus Regout Royal Sphinx Maestricht, "Cambridge Old England" decor. Decor in blue monochrome on white in the spirit of English "transferware": finely detailed rural scenes and romantic landscapes, framed with floral and architectural motifs. Dutch manufacturing ("made in Holland"). In very good condition. Traces of pernette visible on the reverse (normal). Rare and very light scratches from use, (barely) visible against the light. Some slight chips on the reverse under the edge or on the heel. See detail photos. Beautiful color, very shiny enamel. Diam. 24 cm, h 4 cm.
