Dining chair by Poul Kjaerholm. Model PK-9 for Fritz Hansen

Beautifully aged and well kept, this "tulip chair" is widely considered a masterpiece of modern design. Designed by poul kjærholm in 1960, made from high carbon spring steel, fibreglass and rich aniline leather. This particular colour has been out of production since 2012. This example was made in 1990 and has the original sticker underneath the frame. The base is made from chrome-plated spring steel. (all models since early 2000 have stainless steel bases) Very slight wear and slight oxidisation.
